P. Jeffrey Phillippi, DDS
Dr. Phillippi attended Emory University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He conducted his general practice residency at the Carolinas Medical Center.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and the Charlotte Dental Society. He is currently a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Phillippi has served on the Executive Committee at the Carolinas Medical Center. He has also served on the executive Board of the Charlotte Dental Society as well as the Advisory Committee for the Central Piedmont Community College. Dr. Phillippi has been a part-time instructor at the Carolinas Medical Center since 1984.
Dr. Phillippi has over 800 hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have twin teenage boys. His favorite hobbies include camping, fishing, and traveling.
David H. Kwon, DDS
Dr. Kwon received both his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Kwon enjoys serving the community wherever he can. He volunteers his time with the N.C. Baptist Men's Fellowship Dental Van. He has been on medical mission trips to Vermont, Kentucky, Tennesee as well as going overseas to Nicaragua. He and his partner, Dr. Jeff Phillippi, participate year-round for the Physicians Reach Out program to help underprivileged children in Charlotte.
Dr. Kwon is currently a Fellow in the Internation Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, Mastermind Study Club, I.C.O.I and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kwon lives in Harrisburg with his wife, Ashley, son Aiden and newborn son Kandan. He enjoys coaching t-ball and playing softball. He is a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church North Campus.
