P. Jeffrey Phillippi, DDS, PA
Dr. Phillippi attended Emory University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He conducted his general practice residency at the Carolinas Medical Center.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, North Carolina Dental Society and the Charlotte Dental Society. He is currently a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Phillippi has served on the Executive Committee at the Carolinas Medical Center. He has also served on the Executive Board of the Charlotte Dental Society as well as the Advisory Committee for the Central Piedmont Community College. Dr. Phillippi has been a part-time instructor at the Carolinas Medical Center since 1984.
Dr. Phillippi has over 800 hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have twin boys. His favorite hobbies include fishing, golf, and traveling.
David H. Kwon, DDS, PA
Dr. Kwon received both his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kwon is currently the president of the 2nd District of the NC Dental Society and the former president of the Charlotte Dental Society. He is also serving as the Chair for the 2024 NC Dental Society Annual Convention.
Dr. Kwon enjoys serving the community wherever he can. He volunteers his time with the AGAPE Clinic. He has been on 14 medical mission trips to Vermont, Kentucky, Tennesee as well as going overseas to Nicaragua, Peru and Mexico. He and his business partner, Dr. Jeff Phillippi, participate year-round for the Physicians Reach Out program, Give Kids A Smile, and NC MOM clinics.
Dr. Kwon, is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, Mastermind Study Club, International Congress of Oral Implantology and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kwon lives in Harrisburg with his wife Ashley and sons Aiden and Kanden. He enjoys coaching/volunteering with his son's baseball team and playing softball. He is a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church North Campus.
Curtis L. Phillippi, DDS
Dr. Curtis Phillippi is a triple tar heel, having received his Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery training and General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Prior to dental school, he earned his Master of Physiology degree at North Carolina State University.
Dr. Curtis enjoys music, playing guitar, cooking, hiking, and fishing.
